The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Uzbekistan with a loan worth $45 million to implement the Primary Health Care Improvement Project, Uzbek media reported.
The government of Uzbekistan issued a decree “On measures to implement the Primary Health Care Improvement Project with the participation of the ADB.”
The total project cost is more than $57.75 million. The loan will be granted for 25 years with a five-year grace period.
Uzbekistan will provide $12.8 million for the project. The project will be implemented in 2018-2021.
As part of the project, Uzbekistan plans to allocate $39.79 million for the purchase of equipment.
