Azerbaijani company completing laying water supply systems in Uzbekistan

Azerbaijani engineering company Texno-Atinak in the near future will complete the construction of the biggest project for laying water supply and sewage systems in Uzbekistan, a source in the company told Trend.

As part of the project, 97 percent of laying 160 kilometers of polyethylene pipes has been completed, according to the source.

“We plan to commission the facility in the short term,” the source noted. “At the moment, we are negotiating with Uzbek partners regarding new projects for laying water and sewer pipes in this country. We expect to sign contracts before the end of this year.”

The projects are financed by the World Bank, as well as by the government of Uzbekistan.

The company is also engaged in the rental of various equipment and technical means including excavators, loaders, mobile and tower cranes and compressors for the implementation of infrastructure projects.

Texno-Atinak was established in 2011 to implement infrastructure projects in the region.
