The Ministry of Finance and Economy, Turkmenistan, together with the Union Of Industrialists And Entrepreneurs of the country, is preparing a draft strategy of Turkmenistan for the management and reform of enterprises with state participation for the upcoming five-year period and an action plan for its implementation, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.
The project provides for specific steps aimed at increasing the share of the private sector in the innovative development of the country, expanding the range of market relations, activating public-private partnership, accelerating the privatization of state property and effective management of its activities.
The above-mentioned steps are envisaged in accordance with the tasks defined in the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan on socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025".
In addition, the project defines work on the institutional transformation of economic sectors, the introduction of the digital system and IT technologies, the change of ownership relations and the formation of diverse forms of ownership.
Furthermore, plan for the implementation of this program document, among the priorities are the revision of legislative acts on the management and reform of enterprises with state participation and the adoption of new regulatory documents, as well as the activation and improvement in accordance with international practice of organizing the activities of stock exchanges.
