The Chairman of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran asked for providing the infrastructure needed for the export of agricultural products.
"The cold chain network for exporting agricultural products is one of the most important challenges of Iran," the Chairman of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, Hamid Zadboum said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He called the training of traders and exporters in the agricultural sector the most important requirements for the quantitative and qualitative development of agricultural product exporters.
"The Supreme Export Council as a pillar of cross-sectoral coordination in the field of non-oil exports is ready to review the TPOs proposals," he said. According to IRNA, in the first nine months of the current Iranian year (started on March 20), 110 million tons of goods worth $52 billion were exchanged between Iran and various countries, of which 58.2 million tons worth $25 billion was exports share.
