Certain facilities put into operation in Iran

As many as 51 facilities of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs have been put into operation in Iran on March 11, Trend reports citing IRINN.

According to the report, a total of 137 trillion rials (about $3.27 billion) was spent on these facilities.

“So, 4 medical treatment centers, 4 sports and cultural centers, 8 agricultural and livestock facilities, 10 manufacturing and industrial enterprises and 1 hydroponic greenhouse were put into operation,” the report said.

These facilities were put into operation in the Tabriz city in East Azerbaijan Province (northwestern Iran), Bushehr city in the Bushehr Province (southern Iran), Shahedshahr and Tehran cities in the Tehran Province (northern Iran), Arak city in the Markazi Province (central Iran), Isfahan city in the Isfahan Province (central Iran), Urmia city in the West Azerbaijan Province (northwestern Iran), Qazvin city in the Qazvin Province (western Iran), the report said.

According to the report, about 5,000 people were employed in Iran with the launch of these facilities.

“In addition, implementation of 9 plans for the construction of 15 manufacturing enterprises and housing belonging to this fund, has been initiated,” the report said.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani attended the opening ceremony of the facilities via videoconference.
