BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 3. bp has announced the volume of hydrocarbon output within the framework of projects in Azerbaijan since their development, Trend reports.
Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, the company's Vice President for the Caspian area, stated at Baku Engineering University that the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field block had produced over 4.3 billion barrels of oil since 1997.
According to him, Azerbaijan received more than 50 billion cubic meters of associated gas from this block.
“The Shah Deniz gas condensate field has produced more than 209 billion cubic meters of gas since December 2006,” Aslanbayli added.
bp has been operating in the country for 32 years and has invested approximately $85 billion.
