BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 8. The number of purchases and sales of real estate in Kazakhstan amounted to 67,801 transactions in March 2022, which is 28.7 percent more than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Karaganda region ranked first by a number of purchases (11,444 transactions in March 2022), showing a 87.8-percent increase compared to March 2021 and a 63.7 percent increase compared to February 2022.

The second largest number of transactions was observed in Nur-Sultan city where it amounted to 8,652 transactions, which is 32.6 percent more than in March 2021 and 46.5 percent more than in February 2022.

Nur-Sultan city is followed by Mangystau region with 6,685 transactions, which is 32.1 percent less than during March 2021 and 81.6 percent more than in February 2022.

The least number of purchases and sales of housing transactions during March 2022 was observed in the North Kazakhstan region (1,124 transactions, an increase of 63.6 percent compared to March 2021 and an increase of 61 percent compared to February 2022).
