BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Overall, 168,000 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $58.6 million were exported through Iran’s Dayyer port in Bushehr Province in the south of the country, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), Customs Inspector of Bushehr Province Customs Office, Ali Soleimani said, Trend reports.

The customs official noted that the exported products were mainly agricultural and foodstuff and mining products. The mentioned goods were exported to countries located around the Persian Gulf.

Soleimani added that Dayyer port in the south of Iran's Bushehr Province is considered the country's main non-oil product export terminal to Qatar.

According to him, it is expected that the export and transit through this port will increase with the provision of a number of concessions in Dayyer port in connection with the reduction of costs for businessmen and exporters.

Meanwhile, a total of 387,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded at Iran's Dayyer port for the last Iranian year.

In total, Iran exported more than 122 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $53.2 billion over the last Iranian year, which increased by 10 percent in value, while it did not change in volume compared to the preceding year.
