The Azerbaijani government works on the draft action plan of TACIS for 2006 financial year. “The initial version will be developed and submitted to the European Commission till late December,” Asgar Alakbarov, the Chief Executive of the TACIS Coordinating Bureau on Azerbaijan, told Trend.
According to Alakbarov, the 22m euros action plan will be envisaged for limited number of projects, as the program seeks to implement high-budgetary projects.
EuroAID European Commission and the government started unification of the draft plan in early October. “The plan is expected to be approved in June 2006,” Alakbarov stressed.
