The trainings on diagnostics and prevention of bird flu will be held in the zonal laboratory of the State Veterinary Service (SVS) under the Agriculture Ministry on 6 April under the financial support of the U.S. International Development Agency, the press service of SVS told Trend. The trainings will be held by professor of U.S. Columbia University Jeffrey Forman for the employees and the specialists of the veterinary departments and the veterinary laboratories in the regions Saatly, Imishli, Ali-Bayramly, Hajigabul and Neftchala. The trainings will concern history of appearance and spreading of the disease, preventive work, safety regulations and methods of struggle with the disease.
SVS noted similar events were first organized for specialists of Salyan, Bilasuvar, Masally, Jalilabad, Yardimly, Lerik and Astara in the zonal veterinary laboratory in Lankaran
