Kazakh KazTransOil’s profit increases by over 20%

The Kazakh oil transportation KazTransOil company increased its profit by 23 percent in January-September 2015 compared to the same period of 2014, the company said.

During this period, KazTransOil's net profit amounted to 61.8 billion tenge (278.92 tenge = $ 1).

The separate revenues on KazTransOil as of the first nine months of 2015 amounted to 144.3 billion tenge, which is 9 percent more than in the same period of 2014.

It was earlier reported that KazTransOil transported 36.73 million tons of oil in January-September, or 2 percent more than the planned volume and 3 percent less than in the same period of 2014.

The consolidated volume of transportation of oil and oil products totaled 46.218 million tons, or 3 percent more than the planned volume and 3 percent less than in the first nine months of 2014.

KazTransOil JSC is the subsidiary of KazMunaiGas JSC national company and the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the main oil pipeline. The company manages a network of main oil pipelines stretching over 5,700 kilometers and water pipelines over 1,900 kilometers long.
