By Elnur Baghishov – Trend:

Iran’s National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) will put two million barrels of light crude oil up for sale at the Iranian energy exchange (IRENEX) on June 11, Trend reports referring to NIOC’s website.

The price of oil is set at $ 67.32 per barrel. This is the third time when Iran has put light crude oil up for sale at IRENEX since March 21, the beginning of the Iranian calendar year.

Customers may receive the oil load within three months of the purchase, with load being delivered to locations approved by NIOC.

Iran intends to diversify its oil sales methods by putting crude oil up for sale at the energy exchange, and to export crude oil by using the private sector.

Iran has put crude oil and gas condensates up for sale at IRENEX 18 times since October 28, 2018. As of today, 1,015,000 barrels of light crude oil and 70,000 barrels of heavy oil have been sold at the energy exchange.
