The Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries produced 476,102 tons of light and heavy fractions of gasoline, 349,261 tons of lighting kerosene and kerosene for jet engines, 902,759 tons of diesel fuel, 1.8 million tons of fuel oil from January through August of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan's Nebit-Gas electronic newspaper.
The produced oil products are sold both on the domestic market of the country and exported.
In the process of modernization and application of modern technological installations at the oil refinery, the depth of oil refining has significantly increased.
Previous reports said Turkmenistan has exceeded expectations of oil and gas condensate production from January through August 2020.
The estimates of oil and gas condensate production were exceeded by 2.2 percent, natural and associated gas - by 1.2 percent, gas exports – by 0.8 percent, oil refining – by 3.1 percent, gasoline production – by 5.6 percent, diesel fuel production – by 6.3 percent, kerosene production – 6.9.
