ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 8. Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern exceeded its oil production plan by 2.1 percent from January through March this year, Trend reports.
According to the official source, this was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, during the specified period, the enterprises of this state concern fulfilled the plan for the production of gasoline by 101.1 percent and diesel fuel by 100 percent.
Furthermore, he noted that the plan for the production of polypropylene and lubricating oils for the first quarter of this year was fulfilled by 100 percent.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is currently focused on expanding and improving its oil and gas industry to boost its economy and strengthen its position in the global energy market.
This effort involves upgrading infrastructure, attracting foreign investments to increase oil and gas production and exports, and actively pursuing the development of new technologies and production methods.
