The 3rd trestle at the Dubendi terminal will be put into exploitation till December 2005, the Middle East Petroleum, the oil trader and operator of the Dubendi terminal in Azerbaijan, told Trend.
The work on construction of the trestle, which will allow simultaneous shipment of 39 tankers with oil and oil products, is underway. “It will allow shipping 30,000-35,000 ton oil and oil products a day,” the same source noted.
The Middle East Petroleum said that 2 trestles are currently being used at the terminal. One ships 34 tankers with oil products (petrol, diesel fuel, and kerosene), the otherвЂ" 42 tankers (oil and mazut). 2,025,000 tons of oil and oil products might be transported through the trestles a day.
