The results of the strategy conference of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) will be considered at 43rd meeting of the RCC Board of Heads of Communications Administrations, which will be held in November in Baku, the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications said.
Azerbaijan at the meeting will be represented by the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies.
Questions will firstly be considered during the joint 31st meeting of the RCC Commission on Postal Communications and 20th anniversary meeting of the Board of Postal Operators, which will be held August 26 in Chisinau.
The agenda of the meeting also included a review of the activities of the RCC Communications Administrations for implementation of decisions of 24th UPU Congress and the preparations for the UPU Strategy Conference to be held September 22-23, 2010 in Kenya.
Also one of the important issues to be raised during the meeting in Chisinau is the application of favorable postal rates for library items in a system of interlibrary loan (ILL) of CIS countries, which have not yet received the unanimous approval of all Commonwealth countries.
