BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 31. Azerbaijan's Azercosmos OJSC’s total income from the export of satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $15.1 million in the first seven months of 2022, the country's Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication told Trend.

According to the center, the export of services accounted for 83 percent out of the total income of the company.

From January through July this year, Azercosmos OJSC exported satellite and telecommunication services to such countries as the UK ($3.9 million), France ($3.2 million), Luxembourg ($2.6 million), UAE ($1.4 million), and Pakistan ($800,000).

In July 2022, the satellite operator exported services worth $2.1 million to 30 countries in total.

The company owns two communication satellites – Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as low-orbit Azersky satellite.

The total income of Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunications services amounted to $45.3 million in 2021, which was $200,000 more than in 2020.
