The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan has prepared the measures plan on application of the law On electronic signature and electronic documents. The measures plan was certified by the minister of communications Ali Abbasov in late June, Trend reports quoting the press-service of the same Ministry.
The plan consists of two paragraphs registration and accreditation of the Certification Service Centers (CSC). For this purpose, from the II quarter of 2006, it needs to start working out the issue of signing the intentions protocol on the all-rounded cooperation in the sphere of electronic signature between Turkish telecommunication structures and Ministry of Communications, creation of CSC and ensuring its safe activity by means of development and signing of relevant legal documents with the state bodies and organizations, development of model regulations and other normative documents on CSC, etc.
The second paragraph includes studying the practice of the countries widely applying the exchange of document by means of electronic signature, as well as organizing business trips for the specialists, signing relevant agreements on consultation services, working out program provision, applying pilot programs, etc.
