The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with Patrick Pascal, the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in the country, according to the government's statement on Sept. 16.
The diplomat presented copies of his credentials during the meeting, the statement said.
Pascal said that he intends to further enhance inter-state dialogue, as an authorized representative of France in Turkmenistan. He also noted the importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries in various directions, according to the statement.
The parties also discussed further intensification of bilateral cooperation in political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
