At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan 38 transactions were recorded in amount of $29,5 million for the past week, Trend reports via the exchange.
During the auction, entrepreneurs from Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased heating oil, hydro treated diesel fuel, aviation and lighting kerosene produced at the country’s Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.
Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Switzerland and Uzbekistan also purchased handmade carpets.
In addition, for the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs bought high-density polyethylene, hand-made carpets and cotton fiber.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established in 1994. The Exchange performs the function of the main body of state regulation of export and import operations.
