Turkmenistan shares weekly data for transactions on commodity exchange

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $17.6 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.

Entrepreneurs from Turkey and Russia purchased polypropylene produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) and representatives of business communities from UK, Turkey, Afghanistan and Georgia purchased ECO-93 fuel.

Businessmen from UAE, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan purchased terry products, cotton yarn and licorice root on the stock exchange.

Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan for the local market purchased engine oil, polypropylene and high-density polyethylene, as well as handmade carpets for a total amount of about 37.5 million Turkmen manat ($10.7 million).

A total of 53 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
