BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Turkmenabat Cotton Spinning Factory in East of Turkmenistan increased the production of cotton yarn from January through April 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the factory produced 3,100 tons of cotton yarn, which is 11.5 percent more than in the same period last year.
The factory manufactured products in 4 months of this year for 61.5 million Turkmen manats ($17.5 million), of which goods worth 59.8 million Turkmen manats ($17 million) were sold.
At the same time, cotton yarn produced at the enterprise is exported to the UAE, UK, Russia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Georgia.
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
