BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. The number of cattle of the "Ak hunji" enterprise, located in the Bayramaly district of the Mary region in the south-east of Turkmenistan has been released, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.

According to the information, currently 400 heads of cattle are kept in the livestock farm.

Fodder crops are grown on 95 hectares of land belonging to the farm, and the annual production capacity of the complex is 70 tons of meat and more than 700 tons of milk.

Furthermore, at the moment a lot of work is being done in Turkmenistan to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, and strengthen the feed base of the industry. The improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.

Most of the livestock production accounts for the private sector of Turkmenistan.
