The volume of Uzbekistan’s trade turnover with the CIS countries amounted to $15.8 billion in 2021, which is an increase of 34.1 percent compared to 2020 ($11.8 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
In 2021, exports from Uzbekistan to the CIS countries amounted to $5.4 billion, while imports from these countries amounted to $10.4 billion.
During this period, trade turnover with other countries increased by 7.2 percent compared to 2020 ($24.4 billion), reaching $26.2 billion.
The volume of foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan in 2021 amounted to $42 billion, which is an increase of 16 percent compared to 2020 ($36.2 billion).
