BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29. Epsilon Development Company LLC obtained an industrial flow of gas, following workover and hydraulic fracturing at well No.1 of Karakara field in the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the company's statement.
The flow rate of the well amounted to 120,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
Today, the well will be connected to the main pipeline and begins supplying natural gas to the domestic market. All work is carried out in accordance with sanitary-epidemiological and environmental requirements.
On January 11, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan awarded licenses to Epsilon to explore oil and gas deposits in five investment blocks under resolution No 19. It should be noted that one of the blocks was Kultak – Kumashi investment block on which the Yangi Arik-1 field is located.
Epsilon Development Company LLC was established in 2018. The company is an independent oil and gas exploration, development, and production company operating in Uzbekistan.
