BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 24. Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and CEO of Lasselsberger Group (an international producer of raw materials headquartered in Austria) Josef Lasselsberger, had a meeting where cooperation with Uzbekistan has been discussed, Trend reports.
During their meeting, Kudratov and Lasselsberger discussed the implementation of two significant projects. The first project focuses on the production of micro calcite in the Qashqadaryo region in the southeastern part of the country.
The second project involves the production of large-format ceramic granite in the Samarqand region in the center of Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, both parties expressed their agreement on a coordinated plan of action to effectively implement these projects and foster fruitful cooperation.
"Recently, we have felt special support from the leadership of Uzbekistan, which is provided to foreign investors," Lasselsberger said.
Lasselsberger Group, a company established in 1957, specializes in the production of construction materials, ceramics, and minerals, with 30 production facilities in 26 countries and an annual turnover of $20 billion.
