TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 11. Uzbekistan’s Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) experts summed up the results of August in the real estate market of Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
As per data provided by CERR, the average price per square meter of housing in August 2023 decreased by 0.7 percent, while prices for secondary housing increased by 22 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
Conversely, prices for secondary housing in Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent, continued to grow in August 2023 and increased by 1.9 percent over the month, compared to a 1.5 percent increase in July 2023. Average prices for secondary housing in Tashkent increased by 31.6 percent in August 2023 compared to the same period last year.
The highest rates of growth in prices for secondary real estate were noted in Uchtepa (3.6 percent), Chilanzar (3 percent), and Yakkasaray (2.9 percent) districts.
