TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, March 7. The net profit of Uzbekistan's ANORBANK (commercial digital bank) reached 139.5 billion soums ($11.1 million) in 2023, Trend reports.
According to ANORBANK, this result demonstrates the stability and effectiveness of financial strategies implemented by the bank. Since its launch in Uzbekistan, ANORBANK has ended each year with a profit.
The bank continues to successfully develop its loan and deposit portfolio. The total loan portfolio of individuals and legal entities exceeded the amount of 3.1 trillion soums ($248.3 million). Deposits of individuals and legal entities increased to the amount of over 3.7 trillion soums ($296.3 million).
The bank remains in demand both among individuals with the issuance of 1.8 million debit cards and among legal entities, where the client base exceeds 9,500 companies.
There is also an increase in the number of registered users, which exceeded 4 million people.
The number of active clients at the bank reached 75,000.
In addition, ANORBANK continues to develop one of its first products, the ANOR installment card. The network of partners amounted to 5261. Among the popular categories were: household appliances and electronics; jewelry; clothing and footwear; and tourism.
The total approved amount reached 550 billion soums ($44 million) by the end of 2023, of which 290 billion soums ($23.2 million) were used.
Meanwhile, the total turnover of the Uzbek Click payment organization's transactions amounted to 60 trillion soums ($4.7 billion) in 2023, which is 45 percent more year-on-year.
According to the HUMO payment system's reports, Click's share among non-banking mobile applications is the largest and amounts to 41.6 percent.
