Iran took part in the regional railway meeting in Aleppo, Syria, on Monday.
The Islamic Republic of Iran's Railways Managing Director Hassan Ziari attended the one-day meeting, IRIB reported.
The directors of Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Turkey railway companies also took part in the meeting.
The participants discussed ways of establishing joint companies to construct factories to produce railway equipment, carrying out development plans, cooperating in training human resources, and repairing and maintenance of railroads and installations.
