Iran's government is looking to extend the loan payment deadlines to at least 60 months to prevent possible halt of industrial activities across the country, Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiei said, Trend reports via IRNA.
"The High Economic Coordination Council 's meeting was held and necessary decisions were made," he said. "One of the decisions was to extend the loan payment deadlines to prevent interruption in production and employment of production units."
Rabiei said the extensions touch upon such issues as tax payments, utility bills, insurances - all for one year.
"Organizations such as Iranian National Tax Administration, Social Security Organization, municipalities, banking network, water, gas, power distribution companies should take the issue into account, if the extension for production units is approved," Rabiei said.
Elsewhere he said the government has decided to reform the salaries of laboratory workers in hospitals and healthcare systems and change their working hours.
