Statistics indicate the government's job-creating programs during the past four years provided 2.1 million occupation opportunities.
The government has set various plans on its agenda in recent years to create new job opportunities and preserve existing occupations to develop employment, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Supporting programs, development of businesses were parts of government programs in this regard that included training in the working environment, wage subsidies, support of the home-based occupation.
The latest statistic data from the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare has created 279,882 jobs opportunities in the past four years that were the result of training programs in the working environment.
The government supportive policy leads to 1.4 million new job opportunities that were the result of microfinance, support of home-based jobs, supportive work in the State Welfare Organization, and Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation.
The Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare has predicted necessary programs, implemented rural and tribal labor laws, support job-creating groups, and a national plan to develop home-based jobs since 2018. With the implementation of these programs in the past three years, 713,486 job opportunities were created.
The ministry has also replaced 22,468 job applicants in businesses that were held by foreigners in 2018.
