Iran records growth in non-oil exports to Tajikistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 23. Iran's non-oil exports to Tajikistan increased by 53.9 percent in value and 38.7 percent in weight in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.

According to the statistics, last year, Iran exported 325,000 tons of non-oil products worth $262 million to Tajikistan.

However, in the previous Iranian year, Iran's non-oil exports to Tajikistan amounted to 234,000 tons worth $170 million.

The statistics indicate that during the mentioned period, Iran mainly exported petrochemical products, metallurgical products, agricultural and food products, etc. to Tajikistan.

Information shows that Iran exported about 36,000 tons of non-oil products worth about $32.2 million to Tajikistan for the 12th month of the last Iranian year (from February 20 through March 19, 2024).

To note, according to the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration, the country's exports of non-oil products amounted to about 125 million tons worth about $44.9 billion in the first 11 months of the year. Iran's exports of non-oil products decreased by 8.87 percent in value terms and increased by 11.4 percent in weight terms.
