Iran may soon make the list of selected sites for new nuclear power plants in the country available to the IAEA, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, the head of the Iranian delegation to the IAEA Conference and the Atomexpo 2013 forum Fereydoon Abbasi Davani told reporters.
"We are committed to looking for sites to build additional stations in the country. We will soon give the relevant information and geographic characteristics of these places at the disposal of the IAEA," he said, RIA Novosti reported.
The head of the Iranian delegation to the IAEA Conference said that Iran has repeatedly announced plans to expand Busher NPP, adding that it is planned to build three more power units at the area of the station. He also stressed that Iran has very well cooperated with Rosatom.
"We hope we will broaden our cooperation in the construction of new reactors in the future," Fereydoun Abbasi Davani said.
