Iranian and Chinese foreign ministers discussed the latest developments in nuclear talks on March 24.

In a telephone conversation, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi reviewed the latest events in the process of nuclear negotiations, the Fars news agency reported March 25.

The two foreign ministers exchanged views on the trend of negotiations between Iran and the six world powers.

Iran's nuclear negotiators will leave Tehran for Lausanne, Switzerland March 25 for the next round of talks.

Zarif is to meet with his American counterpart John Kerry during the talks.

The talks between Iran and the US, Russia, China, France, Germany and the UK face an initial deadline for a basic framework agreement at the end of March, and a June 30 deadline for a final settlement.
