Today, on December 26th, two candidates partaking in the presidential elections submitted their applications to the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia. As informed by the CEC press service, the head of the Union for National Self-Determination, Paruyr Hayrikyan and expert on epos, Vardan Sedrakyan have submitted their documents, Armenia Today reported.
The application process for presidential candidates started yesterday. Candidates may submit necessary documents to the Central Electoral Commission before 18:00 January 4th, 2013. The registration of candidates will take place between January 4th and 14th. Voting will begin on February 18th, 2013.
