OSCE Long-term Observation Mission Come to Georgia

Georgia. Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / The OSCE observation mission arrived in Georgia to observe the preparation work for the parliamentary elections in the country.

"We were commissioned to hold a pre-election expertise in the country," Boris Trlez, the OSCE delegation head, stated after his meeting with Nino Burjanadze, the Georgian Speaker. Trlez said the elections have significant importance for the democracy in the country. "The Pre-election campaign has a significant meaning and we will observe the situation in the country," he noted. The delegation unites ten people.
