ADB Vice President: Georgian government does great job

The Georgian government has taken significant steps to improve the country’s business rating, said Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Shixin Chen, Trend reports citing Georgian media outlets.
He has made these remarks at the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum 2019, which is being held in the Georgian capital on October 22-23.
“I would like to emphasize that Georgia has done a great job. It ranks 6th on the ease of doing business. Georgia has carried out a number of reforms,” said Chen speaking about improvement of the business environment in Georgia.
The vice president of ADB also noted the importance of transport corridors, technology development, tourism promotion and new jobs creation.
The Tbilisi Silk Road Forum 2019 is underway in the capital of Georgia. More than 2,000 delegates from 60 countries, including over 30 official delegations, take part in the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum this year.
