Uzbek President Islam Karimov will pay a visit to Brussels early next week, foreign media quoted European Commission representatives as reporting.
During his visit, Karimov will meet with European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso to discuss bilateral relations.
In addition, it is scheduled to discuss regional security issues, including the situation in Afghanistan, and the economic and ecological situation in Central Asia.
It is expected that during the visit, the Uzbek president will meet with NATO representatives and Belgian officials.
