The document calls for a ceasefire in the Middle East, condemns Hamas attacks and hostage-taking. “We call for an immediate and lasting humanitarian ceasefire, which must be respected by all parties,” the document says.
The new draft resolution of the Russian Federation provides for the unhindered delivery of essential goods, including fuel, to Gaza. “We call for the continuous and unhindered supply of essential goods to the civilian population, including electricity, water, fuel, food and medicine,” the document says.
