In January-August 2019, exports from Istanbul and Ankara to Azerbaijan amounted to $630.854 million, Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) told Trend.
According to TIM, exports from Ankara to Azerbaijan increased by 16.91 percent in January-August 2019 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $88.849 million.
"In January-August 2019, the exports from Istanbul to Azerbaijan grew by 8.88 percent compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to $542.005 million," TIM said.
It was noted that the exports from Ankara to Azerbaijan decreased by 18.78 percent in August of this year compared to August 2018 and amounted to $7.760 million.
"In August of this year, exports from Istanbul to Azerbaijan grew by 46.47 percent compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to $89.990 million," TIM said.
Turkish exports to Azerbaijan increased by 23.68 percent in August 2019 (compared to August 2018) and amounted to $138.2 million.
