Carpet exports from Turkey to Azerbaijan decreased by 22.7 percent in the period from January through July 2020, compared to the same period in 2019, and amounted to $2.6 million, Turkish Ministry of Commerce told Trend on August 26
In July 2020, carpet exports from Turkey to Azerbaijan decreased by 90.5 percent compared to July 2019 and amounted to $60,000.
In the period from January through July 2020, carpet exports from Turkey to worldwide market decreased by 7.3 percent compared to the same period of 2019 and amounted to $1.2 billion.
Carpet export accounts for 1.4 percent of the country's total exports for the mentioned period.
In July 2020, Turkey exported $249 million worth of carpets to world markets, which is 12 percent more than in the same month in 2019.
Carpets exports in July 2020 accounted for 1.7 percent of the country's total exports. For the last 12 months (July 2019 - July 2020) Turkey exported carpets worth $2.4 billion.
