( Cihan ) - Retired Gen. Edip Baser, Turkey's special envoy for terrorism, arrived in Washington to meet his US counterpart retired Gen. Joseph Ralston and other US officials.
Baser told reporters upon his arrival in the US capital that he expected to hold fruitful talks with US officials.
Apart from Ralston, Baser is to meet US Chief of Staff Peter Pace, US National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley and Deputy Secretary of State Nicholas Burns as part of his meetings until weekend.
