The Mi-8 helicopter which disappeared in Kazakhstan on Saturday was found in Almaty region, Kazinform quoted regional administration as saying.

According to the regional law enforcement agencies, all five crew members and three passengers died in the helicopter crash. Their bodies were found among the helicopter's fragments.
An investigative team is working at the scene to establish the causes of the helicopter crash.

"Today the search and rescue team discovered the missing helicopter near Zhalanashkol Lake in Almaty region," regional administration said.

The administration provided no information on crew and passengers.

On November 24 a Mi-8 helicopter owned by the Eurasia Air airline overflying the Kazakhstan-China pipeline, flew in the direction of Dostyk and dissapeared. Eight people, including five crew members and three specialists, were on board. Kazakh transport prosecutor's office filed a criminal case on the helicopter disappearance.
