The parliamentary election in Azerbaijan is going on with high voter turnout, observers from the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) said.
ICAPP representatives Erwin Aksa and Yasril Ananta Baharuddin, observing the voting process at the 19th polling station of the 1st Narimanov constituency, expressed satisfaction with the election process, Secki-2015.az website said.
The reps said people leave the polling stations satisfied with the voting process, because the election is being held in transparent and democratic conditions.
"We see how the citizens come and freely vote for the candidates they prefer," Aksa said.
Baharuddin for his part pointed out that the election is going on in full compliance with the international law in the polling stations which the observers visited.
He added that the voting process continue without any incidents.
The parliamentary election is being held in Azerbaijan Nov. 1. Some 503 international observers from 40 organizations and over 66,000 local observers monitor the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan. As many as 767 candidates claim for 125 seats in the Azerbaijani parliament.
