Babayeva/ The party For Georgia of Georgia's former presidential candidate is actively preparing for the upcoming presidential elections to take place at the beginning of May in spite of delaying state registration, the Chair of the party Fazil Aliyev told Trend in a telephone conversation from Tbilisi on 15 March.

Aliyev was nominated as presidential candidate by the National Assembly of Georgia's Azerbaijanis and the International Council of Georgia's Azerbaijanis. According to Aliyev, the party headed by him has not been yet registered by the Ministry.

"Technical shortages were revealed in our documents submitted to the Ministry of Justice and during a week we improved them," Aliyev said.

Aliyev explained delays with party's State registration through the issue that currently many political parties have appealed for being registered by the Ministry.

Aliyev said that on 17 March Georgia's Ministry of Justice will officially reply to party's registration request.
