Changes to be Made in Labour Code of Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 March / corr. Trend I. Alizade/ The Azerbaijani parliament will make certain changes in the Labour code.
"There are some flaws in the Labour Code and over 100 changes are expected to be made into it," Hadi Rajabli, the chairman of Standing Parliament Committee on Social Policy said to Trend on 19 March.
The chairman of the Committee said that a working group consisting of representatives of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani parliament), Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Social Security Fund of Azerbaijan, has been set up to conduct a study into the Labour Code.
"The working group is conducting a study into the Code at the moment. The study will reveal which changes are necessary and the draft of changes will be developed accordingly," Rajabli said.
According to the chairman, the draft will be submitted to the Parliament in April.
