3 June the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, sent a letter of condolence
to President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahayan
over the tragic death of his brother.
In his message, the Azerbaijani leader said: "The news of the tragic death of
Your brother Nasser Bin Zayed Al Nahayan and Your fellow countrymen in a
helicopter crash is a source of great sorrow to me".
"I share Your grief, and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and my own
behalf, I extend sincere sympathies and condolences to You, Your family and the
whole people of the United Arab Emirates.
May Allah rest their souls in peace!"
