Georgia’s Ex-President’s Son Accused of Espionage.
Georgia, Tbilisi, 4 September/ corr. Trend N.Kirshkhalia / Middle son of Georgia's first president-Tsotne Gamsakhurdia is suspected of espionage and coup d'etat. The law-defender of the accused said,
According to the lawyer, Gamsakhurdia gave evidence abandoning a right for silence. "Still he denies the charge and does not admit his guilt."-said the advocate.
Gamsakhurdia was arrested at the Tbilisi airport, while returning from Baku to Tbilisi.
He has been in search since November 2007. Prosecutor's Office accused him of organization of coup d'etat.
