Georgia, Tbilisi, 16 September / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia/ Head of the OSCE mission to Georgia Terhi Hakala met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to negotiate positions for OSCE military observers in the Georgia-Ossetia conflict area, OSCE mission reported.
Officials touched upon opening of observers' office in Tskhinvali.
Hakala stressed the need to ensure security to civilian population and to provide humanitarian aid.
Hakala visited the mission's office in Tskhinvali, which observers left on 8 August after commence of military actions.
On 15 September, Lavrov said there was no opportunity for presence in Tskhinvali of the OSCE Georgian mission representatives.
