Iran foreign minister made a visit to Iraq on Feb. 11, the Iranian IRINN television channel reported.
Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchohr Mottaki will meet with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Foreign Minister Hoshiyar Zeybari during his four-day visit to the country. The parties will discuss expanding political and economic relations between two countries.
Mottaki will visit the Kurdistan province. He will also meet with local officials in Basra and Najaf.
Iranian deputy energy, transport, finance and trade ministers and the heads of several Iranian banks are accompanying Mottaki.
